If this was faked, then it was well planned...she was an ex-cheerleader with no skills other than being an airhead who didn't picked to continue being part of a fake sport. Not being a figure for attention, she could have thought up this little idea in order to draw some attention to herself so that someday, some team will be dumb enough to give her a job because they will look sympathetic for hiring her.
